Roberto Pecora is a senior executive with over 26 years of international experience in financial markets, market infrastructures, and post-trading services (clearing, securities services). He has led large and complex organizations with following roles:

He served as CEO & General Manager of Euronext Clearing, where he led the organization’s international expansion and one of the most significant IT, operational, and risk management transformation programs in recent years, involving major financial institutions across continental Europe and the UK. In this role, he worked closely with key regulators and supervisory authorities, including the Bank of Italy, Consob, ESMA, and the ECB. He also led business development and M&A initiatives, including the acquisition of Nasdaq Clearing Power Derivatives.

Previously, he was CEO & General Manager of Société Générale Securities Services Italy, a systemically important banking institution specializing in securities services, holding a leading position in its reference markets.

From 1999 to 2019, he held a range of senior roles within Société Générale Global Markets, with responsibility for the Italian market from 2009.
